Paul Drake

A graduate of both the University of Glasgow and University College London, Mr Drake has trained extensively across the UK, completing higher surgical training and three prestigious specialist fellowships. His broad and thorough education, combined with cutting-edge technologies, ensures that every procedure is performed with precision, care, and the latest techniques.

Mr Drake was one of the first plastic surgeons in the UK to offer SmartLipo (laser-assisted liposuction) combined with power-assisted liposuction, improving body contouring results. He also incorporates advanced technologies, such as lasers, energy-based devices, and 3D simulations, enabling patients to visualise outcomes and set realistic expectations.

Paul’s passion for plastic surgery stems from his fascination with how it can restore appearance, function, and self-confidence. He loves treating patients of all ages with a wide variety of conditions and enjoys the collaborative nature of reconstructive surgery, working alongside other medical specialties.

Outside the clinic, Paul enjoys spending time in the Scottish countryside, particularly the beaches of the east coast, such as Fowlsheuch, where he can observe seabirds and wildlife throughout the year. His interest in art, design, and technology often influences his work, as he believes these elements beautifully intertwine in the field of plastic surgery. When not in the operating theatre, Paul enjoys spending time with his family and has also contributed to charity work, providing plastic and reconstructive surgery training in Africa.
